【予選1st 第13ブロックB】OTONOVA2023  - overview of the performers.

I am very happy that Mudia exists and supports artists of all kinds. I am happy that there are events organised like Otonova2023 in in which I am participating for the first time.

As someone for whom life would be empty without music, I'm very excited about the Otonova2023 event and I'm looking at all the performers taking part.

I have looked through the musical work of all the participants in this block and I can say that it is a very diverse group, which makes me very happy because it will be an interesting duel.

I am very curious to see how this block will turn out, where we have four amazing personalities such as:

1. miku

Miku is a performer born in Sendai and currently living and performing in Tokyo. Miku is a singer who performs both as a solo artist and with her band 'Fool Five'. In addition, she is a member of 'Kazemachi' and 'Sosai mic'. It is worth visiting her Youtube channel (@mikuhatta8427), where we can learn more about her solo and ensemble work. It should be emphasised that Miku is also able to play the guitar in addition to singing, and she combines both sensationally, i.e. singing and playing the guitar at the same time. She synchronises very well with the band. Miku will take you into the wonderful world of acoustic and beyond.

2. 高尾彩佳

Ayaka Takao is a singer and songwriter. Ayaka is currently active musically, while expanding her business to bring her songs to as many people as possible at live houses in Tokyo and the regions, music festivals, shopping malls, hot springs venues and free live concerts. Ayaka also sells handmade accessories on consignment as a 'giraffe maid' and is expanding her business as a voice training instructor. To date, she has released three singles, two full albums and one mini-album. As of 2019, Ayaka hosts monthly one-woman live shows. Her Youtube channel (@user-ws6rz1lt4b) is well worth a visit for her work. Ayaka has a very warm, gentle tone of voice and her songs are sure to put you in a good mood.

3. Kazari

Kazari is an acoustic female-male duo comprising Não, who plays Cajon drums and does the choruses, and Tatsuya, who is both vocalist and guitarist. The band sings songs mainly about scenery and is primarily active in Tokyo. On 28.11.2021, this remarkable duo released the 2nd single "Akatsuki" [暁], which includes 3 songs, 1.夏の花火は君によく似合う 2.いつか and tzrecia 季節. It's worth visiting their Tik-Tok account (@kazari2021music) and Youtube channel (@kazari8250) to check out their work. The MV for the song "夏の花火は君によく似合う" is really good. In it you can see the good synchronicity of the two, Tatsuya's ability to play guitar and sing at the same time. It's also a beautiful song, and Tatsuya has an interesting tone of voice.

4. 凪瀞アツヤ.

Atsuya is a young performer active in distribution media such as Tik-Tok (@nagitoro_o) and a Youtube channel (@user-bi9sf2xl6b), where he posts rearranged songs by all kinds of artists, including Saucy Dog, Back Number and Sekai no Owari. He is a vocalist who is also a good guitarist. Atsuya brilliantly combines playing the guitar with singing at the same time.

Among this diverse foursome, it is hard to choose a favourite, as each represents a different kind of music, different life stories, different skills. I'm rooting for all four of them and I'm already looking forward to seeing how they will do in the qualifiers for Otonova2023.
