2022(下半期)OngOカップグランプリ - strength of personality

I am very happy that there is Mudia, which supports a variety of artists and that there are events like the Grand Prix OngO Cup.

This is my first time participating in an event like this and I am very excited to see how this second half will turn out, with up to 5 extraordinary performers with different skills, different talents and different life stories attending. I will give a brief overview of them below.

1. next tight

Next Tight is a formation formed in 2016 consisting of five office workers: Yaaman, POSSE D, Y2H, EAGLE and RHYSK. They are all salaried workers, so they live by strict rules during the day. Therefore, the texts contain a life-size message of 'workers'. It is worth visiting their Youtube channel, where we can check out their original songs and accompanying MVs, as well as recordings of their live performances in concert halls. Their work consists of a variety of sounds from music genres such as hip-hop; rap; electro, among others.

2. Nami

Nami is an inclusive young woman who decided to bring joy to people through singing after being saved by music herself many times. She belongs to Fill Entertainment. Her dream is that in the future many people will be able to listen to the songs she sings and that she will be able to create and deliver music that will help people feel closer to her. The endearing thing about Nami is that she is fully aware of her imperfections, knows what she wants and strives to achieve it. She says of herself that she still doesn't have enough singing experience, but she aspires to have a singing voice that will resonate in someone's heart. 

On her Tik-Tok account (@nami12212022) and Youtube channel, we can get a glimpse of her first original song released on 30.07.2022, 'ずっと'. Nami has a warm and gentle voice and it is really enjoyable to listen to this song.

3. Romiy

Romiy is a twin sister born in Itoshima, Fukuoka and raised in Itoshima. She is a person who loves delicious things, beautiful things, excitement and singing 💖 She has a wide range of interests like music, beauty, mind, gastronomy, healing. From a young age to primary school she loved singing so much that she performed in front of people. 

Romiy has one desire:

✨ I want to treat people's five senses ✨

"Providing a soothing, singing voice that stays close to people's hearts, gives them love and hope and makes them happy."

Romiy already has achievements like:

Her main attribute is creating sad songs about love that resonate with people's hearts giving them solace. Her Youtube channel is well worth a visit, where we can get a glimpse of her original work. 

I have noticed that Romiy enjoys extraordinary support here and already has a wide circle of fans whose hearts she has reached and healed with her voice.

4 Youhi

Youhi is a very interesting vocal duo consisting of a husband (Hiromi) and Yukiko (wife) formed in 2017. It is wonderful to be able to resonate with each other through the music they create together.

Yukiko was born in Hokkaido into a folk song family and inherited the ability to sing. When she was in primary school she learnt to play the 'electronic organ' at the KAWAI music school and took part in a competition, but after a year and a half she gave up and realised that she preferred singing to playing (she also had a dream of singing while playing).

Since October 2017, she started to represent "M-R-Tmusic" and has been active as Youhi together with her husband Hiromi since this year.

Hiromi was born in Shizuoka Prefecture. When he was in primary school he joined the Himawari Theatre Company. Hiromi has won prizes in piano competitions. In addition to playing the piano, he can also play the guitar. It is worth visiting their Youtube channel, where you can get a glimpse of the amazing work of these two.

5. 野々宮優蘭

Nonomiya Yuran is a young performer who wants to become an artist. She loves to sing and dance and wants to become a person who will bring healing to many people through music. She usually streams songs on Showroom.

Among this diverse fivesome, it is hard to choose a favourite, as each represents a different kind of music. Personally, I was most impressed by Romiy and the duo Youhi but I am very curious to see how all five will fare in this Grand Prix Ongo Cup second half.
