【予選1st 第15ブロックB】OTONOVA2023  - overview of the performers.

I am very happy that Mudia exists and supports artists of all kinds. I am happy that there are events organised like Otonova2023 in in which I am participating for the first time.

As someone for whom life would be empty without music, I'm very excited about the Otonova2023 event and I'm looking at all the performers taking part.

I have looked through the musical work of all the participants in this block and I can say that it is a very diverse group, which makes me very happy because it will be an interesting duel.

I am very curious to see how this block will turn out, where we have four amazing personalities such as:

1st Sunny Dance Maggies

Sunny Dance Maggies was formed in 2019 and is a three-member band consisting of Kotaro Uda (vocals/guitar), Yu Matsumoto (Bassist) and Ryoya Kojima (Drums). The three, who attended the same high school in Gifu Prefecture, moved to Tokyo to create and distribute their music from there. They played their first live concert in 2021 and are mainly active in Tokyo. It is worth visiting their profiles on music distribution media like Youtube (@sunnydancemaggiesclips135) and Tik-Tok (@sunny_dance_maggies) to learn more about their work.

2. EAST LAND BEATS

EAST LAND BEATS is an incredibly unique male and female vocal unit consisting of former popular YouTuber NORi, former major idol YUKIN and former elite office worker Jays. The song, which combines novelty and nostalgia, expresses a unique harmony. Below are the lyrics of their recently released song "「夢の花」" on 3 November 2022. The lyrics alone are beautiful and hit the heart, and when you add the power of these three it's even better.

3. 須藤輝

Teru Sudo is a versatile young performer who was born on the first of June 2004. He has been playing classical piano since the age of 3. He has been playing trombone in a brass band since he was thirteen years old and has entered high school music school. At the age of 16 he started to learn guitar, bass and drums. In his third year of high school he changed his major to vocal music. Currently active as a singer and songwriter in the Kanto region. Self-proclaimed music revival Favourite music: Ringo Shiina, Tokyo Incidents, Aoshi Sakiyama, Ichiko Aoba, CHAI, Cornelius, Beethoven, etc. It is worth visiting his Youtube channel (@-yosei-5680) to learn more about this young artist's work.

4 ChanChanCo.

ChanChanCo. is a unique parent-child duo that entertains the world with rock'n'roll 🎶. Ai (daughter) who is a singer who can play both guitar and keyboards decided to form a rock band with her father Hiroshi, who is also a singer. Hiroshi also plays bass and guitar. It is a beautiful relationship when a child spreads its wings in front of a parent. They create music that aims to bring the world answers to questions such as: What is life? What is humanity? What is the earth? It is worth visiting their profiles on distribution media like Youtube (@chanchanco.) and Tik-Tok (@rrchan_oyakorockstar). The dream of this beautiful duo is to go to England - I wish them to make it come true in the near future.

Among this diverse foursome, it is hard to choose a favourite, as each represents a different kind of music, different life stories, different skills. I'm rooting for all four of them and I'm already looking forward to seeing how they will do in the qualifiers for Otonova2023.
