Qualification 1. block 14 A OTONOVA2023 - the amazing world of sounds

As someone for whom life would be empty without music, I'm very excited about the Otonova2023 event and I'm looking at all the performers taking part.

I have looked through the musical work of all the participants in this block and I can say that it is a very diverse group, which makes me very happy because it will be an interesting duel.

I am very curious to see how this block will turn out, where we have four amazing personalities such as:

1. Momo
Momo is a music teacher, mainly voice. She specialises mainly in reggae, gospel and a capella music. She is active on Tik-Tok and Youtube, posting original songs and covers regardless of Western music (such as Alicia Keys) or Japanese music (such as Aimer). 

2. 小次郎 feat. 惺光玖拾玖
小次郎 feat. 惺光玖拾玖 is an amazing instrumental ensemble of 5 unique members: TK (ex. Musashi Seiryu) on acoustic guitar, Shiho (Fluteless Bass), Sin (drums) and Makoto (electric guitar). By Minoru Mukaiya (keyboardist) and percussionist Akira Jombo of the Japanese band カシオペア (Casiopea), they were commented " "I can show it to the world as it is...", and the instrumental band 小次郎 feat. 惺光玖拾玖 has proven skills. The band takes us into a world of diverse sounds and overwhelming sounds. It is worth visiting their Youtube channel because they are a truly original band.

3. OLTER CURRENT
Olter Current is a three-piece very intriguing cinematic rock band from Osaka specialising in symphonic and grandiose sound arrangements, interspersed with loud emo and unique metre that grab the heart. Vocalist Ryota-san is characterised by his unique voice timbre, great English pronunciation and overwhelming sense of music, the quality of which is already artistic. Guitarist Hiro-san and bassist Katsuo-san, on the other hand, have high technical and performance skills reproducing the music they create to the point of greatness. It is worth visiting their Youtube channel and checking out their latest video, Prayer, which is kept in a slightly dark atmosphere so as to pierce the viewer to the marrow of the bone. The song is entirely in English and the melody enhances the emotion flowing from the lyric.

4. JUNK MARTINI
 JUNK MARTINI is a four-member band (Kai, YouRS, 日高真夢, ししゃも, ) creating cinematic pop music. It is noteworthy that the band does everything themselves: they write the lyrics of the songs, compose the music and arrangements for them, create and shoot the MV. Yours takes care of writing the lyrics and composing the music for them. Both zz Kai also have very intriguing voices. They create their own songs as well as rearranging well-known hits. On their Tik-Tok account you can see their arrangements of BTS songs such as Butter or Yet to come. 

Among this diverse foursome, it is hard to choose a favourite, as each represents a different kind of music. Personally, I was most impressed by the band OLTER CURRENT and the duo 小次郎 feat. 惺光玖拾玖 but I am very curious to see how all four will fare in this Otonova2023 qualifier.
