As someone for whom life would be empty without music, I'm very excited about the Otonova2023 event and I'm looking at all the performers taking part.

The qualification of this group was very interesting, as we were able to witness the confrontation between participants representing a variety of musical genres and with different artistic achievements.

This block's qualifiers included a the six-member mixed a cappella group Luspoir operating in the Tokyo area. It is worth visiting their Youtube channel, which is rich with numerous recordings of live performances, videos combining their original songs with visuals relating to the city of Tokyo, where the group originated. Choral music is one of the rarities nowadays, so it is worth paying attention to this band. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet them and wish them all the best.

We were also able to get to know an exceptional man 樹-itsuki- who is a father of two children with a sensitive soul who writes and composes his own songs. In addition to creating his own music to make people happy, 樹-itsuki rearranges numerous songs and plays the guitar brilliantly. On his Tik-Tok account or Youtube channel, we have seen numerous live performances of him performing with his band. It is worth noting that, as primarily a soloist, he has an excellent ability to harmonise with the band. His media is also rich in numerous covers and original songs. I am glad that I was able to get to know him thanks to Mundia, and I hope that he will continue to make music that makes people happy. 

The group also included the five-piece hardcore band THREE THREADS. This is a very intriguing group with strong Kane-san vocals hailing from Northern Ireland. THREE THREADS is a harmony of 5 talented men with different life stories, but who share one strong passion - to give people music they can interact with and have fun with the band. They play music that borders between hard rock and heavy metal. It is worth visiting their Youtube channel, which is rich in their original singles; recordings of their numerous performances at rock festivals or concert houses as well as vlogs in which they share their experiences from the world of music and beyond. I congratulate them on making it through to the second qualifying round and can't wait to see how they do.

The final performer in this block is 香椎玻澄 a soprano who graduated from the music school. Her path was towards classical music, but one day she decided to broaden her scope - a great decision! She now composes everything with an idea incorporating poetry, melody into her singing. She creates original pieces, but also rearranges well-known songs. It is worth seeing Ave Maria~Tanti anni prima~Astor Piazolla performed by her on her Youtube channel. There we can also see her original pieces and recordings of live performances. Congratulations to 香椎玻澄 for getting through the first qualifying round and I'm already looking forward to what she will show us in the next stages.
