[Qualification 1. Block 13 A] OTONOVA2023 - Performers Review. 

As someone for whom life would be empty without music, I'm very excited about the Otonova2023 event and I'm looking at all the performers taking part.

I have looked through the musical work of all the participants in this block and I can say that it is a very diverse group, which makes me very happy because it will be an interesting duel.

I am very curious to see how this block will turn out, where we have four amazing personalities such as:

1. Qrack
He comes from a musical family and is a 27-year-old talented musician. His mother loves rap and his father loves reggae which has resulted in a great sense of style and a love of mixing. He grew up listening to BlackMusic. Influenced by his mother, he started writing lyrics and freestyling in primary school.  While in his first year of high school in 20212, he began performing live. He has performed as a support act for many artists. On his Youtube channel, we can discover his original songs, which are a mixture of rap and reggae. He is probably the only performer creating music from this genre on the current Otonova, so it is worth taking a closer look at him and giving him a chance.

2.  TëKMO+
Founded in 2022, they are a four-piece band offering sounds from the electro-pop genre. Their mission is to strive for a pop sound that, when listened to, will energise everyone. Since March 2022, the band has been thriving by releasing a single and a music video on their Youtube channel every month. They are worth keeping an eye on, as vocalist Takibi, who also plays guitar, is characterised by a warm tone of voice that, along with the lyricism of at least the song Dancing ( I got the fever 
when I heard your beautiful voice / 全て投げ捨てたっていいや / 街の喧騒もかき消していく/ In the amazingly sunrise / 抑えきれない / 君しか見えない) moves the heart. It is noteworthy that the band creates Japanese-English language songs and that Takibi is not badly in sync with the other three.

3. yuno
It is a great pity that this young performer's card does not refer to any media like Twitter, Tik-Tok, Youtube or Instagram and the description only indicates that she is a singer and pianist.

4. 夜が明ければ
Formed in November 2017, they are an emotional three-piece guitar rock band who, along with the theme of 'cry, laugh' and 'live', want to play music that manifests to the heart by overwhelming with good melodies and words, snuggling into each person's story. The band released their first single "Knife" in January 2018. Then, focusing on their live house acts, by November 2018 they had released a total of 3 DEMO singles, all of which were sold out. On 17 January 2019, he announced his first self-produced project 'Yoake Mae', and with this released the double A-side single 'Oath / Failure'. In October 2020 he won the Grand Prix in a pop-up competition with Shinya Tada, who worked as a judge on a number of songs such as AKB48 and Arashi. In September 2021, they released their third mini-album. The band also gives to charity. I recommend taking a look at their Youtube channel and getting to know them better.

Among this diverse foursome, it is hard to choose a favourite, as each represents a different kind of music. Personally, I was most impressed by the band 夜が明ければ and the duo TëKMO+ but I am very curious to see how all four will fare in this Otonova2023 qualifier.
