【予選1st 第17ブロックA】OTONOVA2023 - Participation Report

I am very happy that Mudia exists and supports artists of all kinds. I am glad that events such as Otonova2023 are organised, which I am participating in for the first time.

As someone for whom life would be empty without music, I am even more excited about the Otonova2023 event and looking forward to all the performers taking part.

The course of the first qualification of this block 17 A was very interesting and exciting, as we were able to witness the confrontation of participants representing different musical genres and artistic achievements. It was also noticeable that the criteria for choosing to support a particular performer varied widely: admiration for their work, familiarity with a particular performer, following the majority of people.

Congratulations to all the performers taking part in Otonova2023 for their excellent participation! It was a really exciting duel, which in this group resulted in the following outcome:

1. 日本一ヘタな歌手 天羽柚月 (Yuzuki Amaha)

Congratulations to Yuzuki Amaha for winning first place 🥇 in this qualifying group and advancing to the next stage. Please continue to give your best 💪 .

Yuzuki Amaha is a performer who can be called a heroine because she gives other people hope that it is possible to pursue one's dreams despite the many difficulties encountered in life.

At the age of five, she developed a severe physical disability and a speech defect of unknown cause. Wanting to 'participate in NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen', which was a longing for her late mother who raised her alone, Yuzuki moved to Tokyo from Miyazaki Prefecture in 2005 and began performing on the street in 2008. Yuzuki is a singer and model. Yuzuki wishes to bring hope and courage to many people, "as long as you don't give up, your dreams will gradually come true". Through taking on various challenges, Yuzuki wishes to develop her entertainment activities so that you can bring more smiles to people's faces. Yuzuki is very active in distribution media and it is well worth visiting her Tik-Tok account (@yuzukiamaha) and Youtube channel (@user-vu5eo5xw9i), where you can get a glimpse of her prolific output.

I am very curious to see how her future will turn out in the Otonova2023 competition.

2 Riy

In second place with 4860 points was the band Riy。🥈 Congratulations on advancing to the next stage! Please continue to give it your all 💪 .

Riy is a singer and songwriter who operates under the motto of connecting smiles and widening circles through songs. Riy is originally from Okinawa, but is currently active mainly in Tokyo. As a student, she belonged to a theatre circle in her hometown and was active in it for seven years. Nowadays, Riy is mainly involved in acting and ensemble activities, and also plays a leading role in the local Tedako Hall.  She started her musical activities with the distribution release of her first start line single. At Otonova, she applied to take the next step towards realising her dream of becoming an artist who can reach more people! Riy is active on the distribution platform Youtube (@user-vp4sr9js4h), where she posts covers she has made.

3. Kenji Yoshino

Third place along with 2391 points went to Kenji Yoshino, 🥉 who is who is a nineteen-year-old who loves to sing and who wants to face what he likes and who wants to live his own life.

4. Mari Yuzuki

By the decision of the audience, fourth place with no points score went to Mari Yuzuki. 

Mari Yuzuki was a member of the choir and choir club at primary school. Currently, Mari participates in festivals and performs at various venues as a singer in the band Yosakoi and also sells original songs as a singer and songwriter. Mari is active in distribution media and on her Youtube channel (@user-jg1kg3lx7n) we can see her numerous covers, live performances and activity as a singer in the band Yosakoi.

Everyone in this group proved to be very strong and intriguing, from which it was difficult to choose two performers who . I'm rooting for the winners Yuzuki Amaha and Riy, and I can't wait to see how they will fare in the Otonova2023 competition.
